Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 08, 2026

1. Introduction

NGPage Dotcom Limited (“NGPage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), RC 9666459, operates a website builder and business directory platform for Nigerian small and medium businesses (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you use ngpage.com, any website built through NGPage, or our directory.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three broad categories:

  • Account information — name, email address, phone number, business name, and password, provided when you register.
  • Business & site content — information you add to your directory listing or tenant website, including business descriptions, images, contact details, and location.
  • Usage & technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Information

  • To create and maintain your account and tenant website.
  • To operate and improve the directory and search features.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To send service notifications, updates, and, where you've opted in, marketing communications.
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details on the types of cookies we use and how to manage them.

6. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. payment processing, cloud hosting, image storage, email/SMS delivery), bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections in this Policy.

[Confirm and list your actual sub-processors here — this section currently describes categories, not named vendors.]

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@ngpage.com.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. International Transfers

Some service providers we use may process data outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with NDPR requirements.

11. Security

We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews — to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.

13. Contact
